Ananta Mitra Foundation

Who We Are

Our Story

Born from Purpose. Built for Impact.

  • The idea of Ananta Mitra Foundation (AMF) was born not in a boardroom - but during a heartfelt visit to Guwahati, where founders Amit Mittal and Alka Mishra witnessed something extraordinary: a sea of young, energetic, and ambitious youth, filled with potential, yet lacking the pathways to realize it. These were not just students - they were dreamers, doers, and future leaders, waiting for the right opportunities to shine.
  • That moment stirred something deeper in both Amit and Alka - a calling to create something larger than themselves. Something that would not just change lives, but fuel the Indian economy by unlocking the power of its greatest asset: people.
  • With decades of combined experience in business leadership, skilling, education, and community development, Amit and Alka brought complementary strengths to the table
